Equipping Christian Women to Embrace their Calling and Honor God in Life and Work

EPHESIANS 2:10

Working Women Honor God events are for Christian working women in the D.C./Northern Virginia area who desire biblical discipleship, practical guidance, and a trusted community for navigating the intersection of faith and work.

As a Christian working woman myself, I know what it is like to juggle many competing demands. I also know how easy it is for my relationship with God to get compartmentalized into its own category - treated like another responsibility to manage. I’m quick to rely on God in my personal life, yet often look elsewhere for wisdom when it comes to my work.

Yet, over the years, I have seen God lead me, orchestrate things at work, give me vision and drive I never asked for, and redeem broken things in and through my work. This has compelled me to seek God and turn to Him in all my endeavors, but I have found it surprisingly difficult to find biblical guidance, mentorship or a trusted community that could help me navigate this important part of my life.

Friends, if you relate to this, please know that God cares deeply about our work, and He is carrying out His redemptive work on earth in and through it every day. As we discover the wisdom God has given us in Scripture for our work lives and begin to recognize His presence in our everyday work, we start to see His bigger story more clearly. We also discover the joy of participating in His Kingdom work in new and exciting ways. That’s why I’m so thankful to serve with this ministry.

At Working Women Honor God, we aim to equip women to embrace their calling and to honor God in every area of life. Together we explore how to see God more clearly and know Him more fully through the lens of our work.

Each quarterly event includes refreshments, prayer, biblical teaching, and practical encouragement, as we learn from one another.

Please register to let us know you are coming.
